1. Introduction

Welcome to British Academy for Higher Studies. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website, academic pathways, teaching qualifications, professional courses and related services. By accessing our platform and enrolling in our courses, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Academy" refers to British Academy for Higher Studies
  • "Student" refers to any individual enrolled in our courses
  • "Course" refers to any educational program offered through our platform
  • "Materials" refers to all content provided as part of our courses

3. Enrollment & Access

Upon successful enrollment and payment, you will be granted access to your chosen course(s). Access is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login credentials with others or allow others to access your account.

4. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, documents, quizzes, and assessments, are the intellectual property of the Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without explicit written permission.

5. Payment Terms

Prices are displayed in USD unless a program page or written offer expressly states another currency. Payment is required according to the checkout summary or agreed academic payment plan. We accept major credit/debit cards through our secure payment processor.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of enrollment. To be eligible for a refund, you must not have completed more than 25% of the course content. Refund requests should be submitted via email to info@britishacademyhs.org.

7. Certificates

Upon successful completion of a course (100% progress), you will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are issued digitally and can be downloaded from your student dashboard. The Academy reserves the right to withhold certificates in cases of academic dishonesty.

8. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Maintain academic integrity in all assessments
  • Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
  • Not engage in any form of plagiarism or cheating
  • Report any technical issues promptly

9. Limitation of Liability

The Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant course.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
